*** NEWS FLASH ***Early last this week we received devastating news about 1st Team captain Becky Cancea, who tragically and suddenly is no longer with us. Everyone associated with the club is shocked and deeply saddened by her loss, and we offer our heartfelt condolences to her family and those who were closest to her. Becky was a much loved friend and team-mate of many years and will be terribly missed. We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who has been in contact with the club this week.

Slough Ladies FC was formed in 1990 and has become an established and successful club with teams in the Southern Region Women's Football League and the Thames Valley Counties League. The club also competes in the FA Women's Cup and in the Berks and Bucks County Cup. Slough LFC has been an FA Charter Standard Club since 2005.
2009/10 Home Venues: Slough's 1st Team will continue to play home matches at Beaconsfield SYCOB FC, while the Reserve Team remain at the Polish Association, Church Lane, Stoke Poges, SL2 4NZ, (see below for maps).
At Slough LFC we aim to ensure that all members can play football safely and enjoyably, and warmly welcome all newcomers to the club. Players must be 16 years or over to participate in matches.

WOMEN'S PYRAMID OF FOOTBALL
The Women's Pyramid of Football is the League System for women's football in England allowing the promotion and relegation of teams from the 'top' of the game (FA Women's Premier League) to the base (County Women's Leagues). The Pyramid consists of four levels, the FA Women's Premier League, four Women’s Combination Leagues, ten Women’s Regional Leagues and ten County Leagues.
